This is a collection of my minds strange perspectives of the darker side of humanity.
There are a select few in this world that do not harbor a demon or two. Are they the truly blessed in this harsh condemning world? Or is this just their final trip down to our hell on earth, coming to finalize their understandings of all things human?
Regardless, most of us have our Shadows that are blacker than the Darkness. So dark they stand out for others to see even in the cold light of day.
That person you stand next to as you wait for your train home, willing it to hurry up so you can be with your family once again, yet the man next to you smothers your sunlight with his essence.
You move to another part of the station platform in the hopes you can’t get swallowed by the darkness we emit.
It does not make us bad people. We walk the line of the realist, seeing the world for what it truly is. The workings and the lies that pour down the gutter along with the garbage tossed uncaring onto the street.
As every day drags us ever closer to our final day of life do we wake wondering if this is that day.
So knowing the fragility of life do we go about it never realizing it pours from our souls. That never ending river of reality that flows on forever seemingly covered and hidden by our Shadows in the Darkness.
