This book ended up focussing on the individual inner turmoil most people face on a daily basis.
Our doubts mix sharply with jealousy, love, and the general hate for this drone life many find themselves waking up to.
Loss fueling that drive to succeed, that need for accomplishment.
Yet sadly for some being born already addicted to drugs stains their souls right from the very start.
No matter who we are at some point in our lives we will, already have, or do, on a daily basis, stand in a bathroom staring at a stranger before us Silently Screaming.
We dare not do it out loud for fear of others discovering our true misery. That fear that life is mundane or that we hate the person we married. That we stare into cold lifeless eyes, and see what could have been if only we did this, or that, instead.
Our world is a harsh mother. Sometimes she slips and lets us catch a glimpse of her favorites. Other times she gets angry and we find out just who the step children really are.
So as our world turns, people come and go with the seasons. It is a life at the end of the day.
Those left behind, rich or poor, shall stand as testimony for the fallen as we stare at our reflections.
Silently Screaming at the stranger staring right back at us.
