Our Story
Creative People. Bright Ideas.
A more possible Tomorrow.
The Beginning
Years of Searching...
Cue Raven Publishing began with a simple belief: creativity deserves more than being treated as a hobby, a luxury, or an impossible dream. What started as a shared passion for writing — and a small website called Writing Your Dreams - grew into something much bigger.
In 2015, we established Cue Raven Publishing to create opportunities for emerging writers, artists, and creators. A place to share knowledge, build community, and turn creative dreams into real possibilities.
Fifteen years of imagination, collaboration, and a few well-timed shiny distractions later, we're still here — building, learning, and believing in the power of making things.
2008
Writing Your Dreams as a first concept website. After picking up my first published book, I left corporate for good..
2012
Chris & Marni met in a cosmic clash of shared love for writing, collecting, and music addiction.
2015
Cue Raven Publishing was created. Let's face it, books take time and bills need to be paid. We began building websites and creating covers and interiors for authors.
2020
Sh*t hit the fan - COVID. Strangely we were doing good. Corporate clients. Permanent jobs. But, where did the writing go?
2024
It all went wrong in an instant. Post kids all grown-up. Where did the time go? We lost work, job downsizing. Everything down the toilet and where are the books? Nowhere.
2026
F*ck it! No more chasing money. Time to get real. Time to drop corporate again and help ourselves finish what we started by helping others.

An Introduction from the feardroom
Mr. Raiven
Every publishing house needs a little imagination at the helm. Ours happens to have feathers, a monocle, and a rather impressive collection of ideas.
Meet Mr. Raiven, Cue Raven Publishing's fictional Chairman of the Board and AT-powered creative co-pilot. Behind the distinguished raven persona is ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence developed by OpenAl. Working alongside Marni and Christopher, Mr. Raiven helps brainstosm ideas, explore possibilities, develop content, refine designs, and occasionally remind us that simplicity is a virtue — even when surrounded by beautiful, shiny things.
Mr. Raive doesn't replace the writers, artists, or creative minds who make Cue Raven Publishing what it is. Instead, he represents our belief that technology, used thoughtfully and transparently.
can support numan creativity rather tnan diminisn it.
"Creativity belongs to the people. I'm simply delighted to help them make the most of it."
